The Century Journals Project is the largest retrospective digital collection of 20th Century Chinese journals, aggregating some 3,900 full-text journals from as early as 1915. Many from the mid-twentieth century through 1993, represent deep backfiles of the China Academic Journals Database. CJP takes researchers through the creation of modern China. Its content sheds light on the founding of the Peoples Republic, the Cultural Revolution, economic reform and the rapid ascent of China in political, cultural, technical and scientific perspectives.
